What to know before placing your order online...

We only currently post within the UK.

OUR FLAT RATE

We charge a flat rate of £4.95 for all orders.

All delivery prices are inclusive of VAT.

STANDARD DELIVERY

Orders for everything other than plants, below £50 are sent out via Royal Mail predominantly but on occasion we use DPD for these deliveries. Deliveries typically arrive between 3 to 5 days.

UK NEXT DAY DELIVERY

Plants and larger value orders are posted via a next day signed for, delivery service through DPD with insurance; however when your parcel will arrive depends on when you order.

DPD will email you with an hour-long time slot on the morning of your delivery. Through that email you will be given the opportunity to set delivery preferences which will include 'leave in a safe place' or 'deliver to a neighbour’.

We ask that you select an option that best limits the time the plant will remain in the delivery box.

SENDING YOUR PARCEL

We send plants out in the mail on Wednesdays. We do not send them out on Thursdays or Fridays as this increases the chance that they may end up in the mail system over the weekend if the driver fails to deliver your parcel.

Products other than plants are sent out in the post on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Our delivery pick ups on the days noted above are arranged for all orders received before 9am. If your order contains a plant it will be posted on the next Wednesday unless ordered before 9am when it will be posted on the same day.

PACKAGING

We take a lot of pride in how we package our items so your items arrive safely and if they don't we will replace your items. See here for more information about our returns and refunds.

We’re proud to be ahead of many others in sustainable packaging. 🤞🏼they follow suit. We use lots of different methods of packaging depending on the item we send but here are some examples of how we do it:

We only use FSC certified cardboard boxes and paper based parcel tape without fibreglass reinforcement.

We don't use oil based plastic to package our items unless we have received some ourselves as we're always keen to recirculate plastic packaging rather than send it to landfill. If your parcel contains plastic packaging we include a sticker letting you know it’s twice used.

100% of our cardboard, paper envelopes and cards are recyclable.

We’re working towards all of our stickers and labels being printed on sugarcane paper as it’s the most sustainable sticker material. For now when we don’t use sugarcane we are using recycled paper labels that are fully recyclable.

Any information cards we include in our packages have been printed on 100% recycled paper.

The wotsits we use in our packing unless twice loved plastic are starch based and disolvable in water. It’s crazy to think others still use plastic when this great innovation can be disolved in a sink and be drained away with no environmental impact.

Because every detail matters to us, we’ve almost eradicated solvent based adhesives in our packaging.

DELIVERY

If you have a concierge service at your residence, please check with them before ordering that they can accept perishable items.

If you opt for your plant to be left in a safe space, we cannot take any responsibility for this and the deliveries company insurance will not cover you.

If your delivery is going to a commercial premises or a building of restricted access, you must ensure that you are available to take the delivery drivers call and provide them with the necessary access.

If your item is returned to as as the couriers were unable to deliver it for any reason, we reserve the right not to provide a replacement.

CARBON OFFSETTING

Our climate emergency matters to us so we offset our delivery carbon through a respected offsetting scheme which is currently contributing to the Jarí Para Forest Conservation Project in the Amazon Rainforest. You can read more about this project here.
